Sohale Hessavi joined the practice in January 2022 while he was completing his undergraduate degree at George Mason University. He is currently a 3rd-year medical student at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where he is completing his clinical clerkships and is expected to graduate in May 2028. He plans to pursue a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, with a particular interest in Pain Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centered care throughout his medical career.

Niki Haghshenas joined IDG as a medical assistant after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2024. During her time at the practice, she developed hands-on clinical skills and gained a deeper understanding of the many factors that shape a patient's experience. She is currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She hopes to build on her clinical background and explore ways to strengthen the delivery and impact of healthcare.

Kali Hawkins began working as a full-time medical assistant in October 2018 and became certified as one of our photo therapists. In 2020, she advanced to Director of Clinical Operations, overseeing the medical assistants. She was later accepted into the Physician Assistant master's program at South University in Tampa and graduated in May 2024. Kail is a board-certified Physician Assistant, licensed in Florida, and currently works as an Orthopedic PA at Lakeland Regional Hospital.
Rebekah Lawrence began her career as a medical assistant and becoming certified in photo therapy. She advanced to becoming the Lead Medical Assistant, where she developed strong clinical and leadership skills. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and is expected to graduate in May 2027. She is passionate about delivering patient-centered, high-quality care as a future Physician Assistant.

Amina Siddiqui joined the practice as a new college graduate and began her career as a Medical Assistant. While here she developed strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies at Drexel University and is expected to graduate in December 2026. She looks forward to providing compassionate, high-quality care in her future role as a Physician Assistant.

Nikita Wagner joined our dermatology practice as a new college graduate and quickly became a valued member of our team as a Medical Assistant. During their time with us, she demonstrated strong compassion and a commitment to providing excellent patient care while supporting both providers and staff in the office.After leaving the practice to further their education, Nikita pursued graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is graduating May 2026 with a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Global Health, along with a Certificate in Community Preparedness and Disaster Management.
We are proud to have been part of their professional journey and look forward to seeing the positive impact she will continue to make in healthcare and public health.

Anjali Jha joined the practice as a medical assistant after her college graduation from Georgetown University. At Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, Anjali was able to develop strong clinical skills as well as an understanding of healthcare operations. She is now pursuing her MHA (Masters of Healthcare Administration) at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She is excited to promote the expansion of equitable, patient-centered care within healthcare systems.

Following her graduation from the University of Virginia in May 2024, Katherine Helmicki began working as a medical assistant at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax. Her experience interacting with patients and collaborating with the clinical care team strengthened her interest in medicine. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, and is expected to graduate in 2029. She has a strong interest in dermatology and hopes to continue exploring the field throughout her medical training.

Juliana Samar began working as a medical assistant while being an undergraduate student. She became certified as a phototherapist to expand her clinical skill set. She went on to earn her Master’s degree from Shenandoah University and continued her academic and professional development by completing her Doctorate of Medical Science. She is dedicated to integrating evidence-based medicine into patient-centered care with a focus on addressing gaps in health equity.
